Clippers Rally to Beat Raptors in Overtime for Fifth Straight NBA Win

Post by : Saif Nasser

The Los Angeles Clippers showed strong determination and teamwork as they came from behind to defeat the Toronto Raptors 121–117 in overtime. The hard-fought win marked the Clippers’ fifth straight victory and highlighted their growing confidence as the NBA season moves forward.

The Clippers struggled early in the game and found themselves down by as many as 14 points in the fourth quarter. Toronto controlled the pace for much of the match and appeared close to sealing the win. However, Los Angeles refused to give up and mounted an impressive late comeback.

James Harden played a key role in turning the game around. He scored 31 points and provided 10 assists, leading the team with calm decision-making during crucial moments. Harden was especially effective in overtime, where his scoring and passing helped the Clippers take control and close out the game.

Several other Clippers players made important contributions. Jordan Miller added energy and points off the bench, while Ivica Zubac dominated near the basket with strong rebounding and inside scoring. Their combined efforts helped Los Angeles win key possessions late in the game.

The Clippers’ comeback was even more impressive because they played without Kawhi Leonard, who missed the game due to injury. Despite his absence, the team stayed focused and worked together on both offense and defense to secure the win.

For the Raptors, the loss was disappointing after leading for most of the game. Scottie Barnes was the top scorer for Toronto, while Brandon Ingram also made important plays. Still, the team struggled to stop the Clippers’ momentum in the final minutes and overtime.

This game showed the Clippers’ ability to handle pressure and fight back when things look difficult. Their recent winning streak suggests the team is building strong chemistry and belief, which could be important as the season continues.

Toronto, meanwhile, will look to learn from this loss and improve their late-game execution. With many games still ahead, the Raptors have time to bounce back and regain form.

Overall, the Clippers’ overtime victory was a clear example of resilience, teamwork, and experience. If they continue to play with the same energy and focus, they could remain one of the most competitive teams in the league.
