A groundbreaking development is on the horizon at DP World’s National Industries Park (NIP), as global furniture giant Zarberg has announced a substantial AED 120 million investment. This new facility stands to become one of the most technologically advanced furniture manufacturing hubs in the Gulf, catering to the rapid growth of the region's real estate sector.
Spanning 65,000 square metres, the initial phase will utilize 18,000 square metres for production, office space, and a dedicated showroom. Future expansion phases are projected to be completed by 2028, aligning with the increasing demand seen throughout the UAE and the broader GCC region.
Once operational, the hub aims to produce furnishings for up to 40 apartments each day. Initially, it will hire around 150 employees, with further recruitment plans linked to operational growth. The facility will specialize in creating tailored kitchens, wardrobes, living room sets, and bathroom vanities, crafted to meet high European design and quality standards using top-tier raw materials.
A standout feature of the new hub is its Industry 4.0 automated production line, providing clients with the ability to customize furniture based on their specific layout, materials, and finishes. This innovative setup is designed not just for efficiency but also for minimizing production time while maintaining consistent quality.
Aligned with Dubai’s commitment to sustainable industrial practices, the facility will feature rooftop solar panels, energy-efficient machinery, and advanced air filtration systems. Furthermore, electric vehicles will facilitate warehouse operations, and all wood used will come from certified sources to ensure responsible procurement practices.
This project significantly contributes to Dubai’s manufacturing sector, especially as the city continues to grow with new residential, office, and hospitality developments. The establishment of Zarberg’s facility underscores NIP’s role as a key location for the evolution of next-generation manufacturing in the region.
