This championship is for the Gi category, and many strong and skilled male and female athletes from clubs and academies all over the UAE will take part in it.
The matches will be spread over three days:
On the first day, the competition will be for youth, adult, and master categories.
On the second day, athletes in the under-14 and under-16 age groups will compete.
On the final day, it's the turn of the under-12 and junior categories.
This wide range of age groups shows how important the championship is in helping young athletes grow. It gives everyone a fair chance to learn, compete, and become future champions.
Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said the championship is doing very well and helping the sport reach new levels of success. He shared that the athletes are improving more with every round, thanks to the hard work of the federation, the players, and their families.
He also said that this event is not just about winning. It’s also about bringing families together, building strong values, and showing how sports like jiu-jitsu can help build good character. The growing number of participants and fans proves how much people in the UAE enjoy sports and how it's becoming a big part of everyday life.
