Salem Al Owais, designated as the UAE's Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-Resident Plenipotentiary to Belize, has officially presented his credentials to Belize's Foreign Affairs Minister, Francis Fonseca. This significant event marks an advancement in the UAE's diplomatic mission to bolster partnerships within Latin America and the Caribbean.
In his address, Ambassador Al Owais extended warm greetings from H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, wishing progress and prosperity for Belize. He emphasized the UAE's commitment to fostering cooperation and strong ties across various sectors with Belize.
Expressing pride in his appointment, Al Owais outlined his intent to enhance collaboration in trade, culture, investment, and education sectors. He reaffirmed his goal of fortifying the friendship shared between the UAE and Belize, while also seeking new collaborative opportunities that would be beneficial to both nations and their citizens.
Minister Fonseca warmly accepted Ambassador Al Owais, reciprocating greetings to H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
