UAE and US Enhance Strategic Partnership Through Dialogue

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of the UAE, engaged in a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to explore methods for enhancing strategic ties between their nations. The dialogue aimed at deepening collaboration across various sectors to align with mutual interests. Both leaders stressed the significance of maintaining a robust partnership that aids the citizens of the UAE and the United States.

The discussion traversed potential new pathways for bilateral cooperation, emphasizing economic, commercial, and scientific partnerships. The growing influence of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies was also at the forefront, illustrating their role in supporting national development agendas. Both parties concurred on sustaining collaboration for lasting growth and mutual prosperity.

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the resilience of the strategic partnership with the United States, underscoring a collective commitment for ongoing cooperation in diverse sectors. The leaders acknowledged that this partnership is pivotal for driving economic prosperity, supporting key development projects, and enhancing the well-being of their peoples.

Amid the talks, pressing regional challenges were addressed, notably the dire situation in Sudan. Sheikh Abdullah pointed out the necessity of implementing the provisions established by the Quad's previous statement, which includes the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the US, to resolve the ongoing conflict peacefully.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip also took precedence during the conversation, with both leaders sharing concerns regarding the impact of regional disputes on human welfare, as they also sought ways to alleviate the hardships endured by affected populations while ensuring regional stability.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed gratitude for the United States' ongoing commitment to bolster security and stability throughout the Middle East and acknowledged US initiatives favoring sustainable peace and regional prosperity. Both sides recognized that combined endeavors are vital for achieving enduring development and security across the region.

The call reinforced the necessity of ongoing dialogue and cooperative strategies between the UAE and the United States, with both leaders agreeing on maintaining close synergy to bolster mutual objectives, strengthen ties, and tackle regional as well as global issues. The UAE is steadfast in its intention to collaborate with international partners in pursuit of stability, development, and peace in the region.
