Dubai Airshow: Sheikh Hamdan Engages with Montenegro's Defence Minister

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, held a pivotal meeting today with Dragan Krapović, the Defence Minister of Montenegro. The occasion took place on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025, a significant event in the aviation and defence sectors.

Sheikh Hamdan extended a heartfelt welcome to Minister Krapović, emphasizing the UAE's commitment to enhancing its relationship with Montenegro. He reiterated the UAE leadership's dedication to strengthening ties with countries in the Balkans, highlighting that the friendship is rooted in mutual respect and shared aspirations for growth.

During discussions, Sheikh Hamdan underscored the potential of expanding collaborative ventures. He pointed out that both nations could share beneficial insights across various domains such as economic development, cultural exchanges, and advancements in defence technology. Additionally, the meeting covered vital regional and international matters, with discussions on recent developments in the Middle East and the importance of achieving lasting peace that can facilitate development and benefit all nations.

Prominent figures present included Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Major General Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli, Director of the Minister of Defence's Office. Their attendance illustrated the UAE's robust commitment to enhancing defence collaboration and fostering international partnerships.

The dialogue concluded with a collective agreement to further pursue cooperative efforts in defence, development, and global peace initiatives, bolstering the relationship between the UAE and Montenegro while paving the way for future collaborations across multiple sectors.
