In a significant development, Vietnam has welcomed Nguyen Huy Dung as the new Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in a formal ceremony in Hanoi. The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, representing the Prime Minister.

Nguyen Huy Dung, born in 1983 in Hanoi, holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and has previously served as Deputy Minister of Information and Communications. He has also been involved in key roles related to cybersecurity, digital transformation, and provincial administration before assuming his current position within the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
