UAE Dispatches 930 Tonnes of Aid to Gaza for Eid Al Adha

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

In a display of solidarity, the UAE has mobilized four humanitarian aid convoys to deliver critical food supplies and clothing to Gaza, aligning with Eid Al Adha celebrations under its relief effort known as “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”.

These convoys comprised 60 trucks transporting approximately 930 tonnes of vital humanitarian aid, aimed at assisting Palestinian families grappling with the ongoing crisis. The primary contents of the shipment included essential food items and clothing to help residents gear up for the festive occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Reports indicate that around 540 tonnes of clothing were generously provided by the Emirates Red Crescent to aid families in Gaza during this important time.

Humanitarian teams at the UAE’s logistics hub in Al Arish facilitated the preparation and loading of these trucks prior to their departure to Gaza. This mission is part of the broader humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the UAE to deliver immediate relief and essential aid to the Palestinian population.

Through “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, the UAE reaffirms its dedication to supporting those impacted by humanitarian crises by ensuring necessary aid reaches those in urgent need.
