The MAMA Awards 2025, referred to as the "Grammys of Asia," launched on Friday in Hong Kong, signaling the commencement of this eagerly awaited celebration.

The first day showcased impressive victories for IVE and Enhypen, each taking home three prestigious awards. Rose was honored with Song of the Year, while BoyNextDoor secured the Favorite Male Group accolade. The Best New Artists title went to Hearts2Hearts and Cortis, and Super Junior received the Inspiring Achievement award.

Among other commendations, Enhypen claimed Fan's Choice of the Year, IVE won Favorite Female Group and Favorite Global Performer, and their track Rebel Heart was recognized as Global Trend Song. Additionally, the Fans' Choice Award was shared by i-dle, aespa, Zerobaseone, Hearts2Hearts, Stray Kids, BabyMonster, Riize, and Enhypen.

Despite a tragic recent event—a devastating structure fire in Hong Kong causing 128 casualties—the awards ceremony proceeded as planned, celebrating immense music talent worldwide. Rising stars like Rose, Enhypen, and IVE emerged as the evening's standout winners.

Anticipation builds for Day 2, hosted by actress Kim Hye-soo, featuring thrilling performances such as G-Dragon's much-anticipated return, Aespa's innovative display, and Stray Kids' electrifying act. Also slated to perform are TXT and Riize, alongside All Day Project, Cortis, Kickflip, Idid, Izna, JO1, and Kyoka.

Key awards, including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year, will be unveiled on the final night, wrapping up a two-day spectacle showcasing Asia’s elite music talents.
