His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Supreme Council Member, has officially issued an Emiri Decree that outlines the new organisational structure for the Sharjah Archaeology Authority (SAA).
This decree sets the groundwork for the Authority's operations, with the Sharjah Executive Council tasked to elaborate on the organisational details.
The upcoming decisions will clearly define job functions, responsibilities, and roles across different departments. The Council is also responsible for ensuring job descriptions are consistent with the Authority's goals and expertise.
Furthermore, the decree empowers the SAA to establish, merge, or dissolve organisational units as necessary, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and support its overall mission.
This initiative underscores Sharjah's dedication to fortifying institutional frameworks and advancing the management of its rich archaeological and cultural heritage.
