Dubai Police's National Flag Campaign Enhances Community Spirit

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

In an effort to boost community spirit and national pride, the Dubai Police have launched an extensive outreach program that involves distributing UAE flags to residents in various neighborhoods across the emirate.

Named “Proud of UAE,” this campaign was initiated under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The initiative seeks to honor the national identity while encouraging a collective sense of belonging among residents.

As part of this campaign, about 800 flags have been distributed in prominent residential areas such as Al Marmoom, Margham, Al Awir, Lahbab, and Al Khawaneej, providing a vibrant representation of patriotism within these communities.

The initiative is coordinated by the General Department of Logistic Support, in collaboration with local police and various partner organizations. Officials emphasized the importance of such community-oriented efforts in nurturing social connections and promoting unity among residents.

Residents have expressed their enthusiasm for the initiative, acknowledging that the display of the national flags across neighborhoods has significantly uplifted the spirit of pride and togetherness. Authorities pointed out that campaigns like this not only celebrate the national identity but also enhance shared values and cultural harmony across Dubai.
