Microsoft has unveiled the launch of Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, enabling gamers to stream Xbox titles conveniently without needing a console. By simply having a compatible device and a reliable internet connection, avid players can explore a vast library of games from the cloud.

Cost-effective Subscriptions for All Gamers

The service is integrated with Xbox Game Pass plans. The new Essential tier is priced at ₹499 monthly, providing access to over 50 games and online multiplayer capabilities. The Premium and Ultimate tiers are available at ₹699 and ₹1,389 respectively, with the Ultimate plan featuring day-one launches. For PC gamers, the PC Game Pass subscription is set at ₹939 per month.

Play on Any Device

Gamers have the flexibility to play on PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and compatible smart TVs from brands like Samsung, LG, and Amazon Fire TV. The streaming process is straightforward: users just need to open a supported browser or the Xbox app, log in, connect a compatible controller, and begin playing. Supported controllers include Xbox Wireless and PlayStation DualSense, with some games offering touch or keyboard-and-mouse controls.

Convenient Gaming on Smart TVs

For smart TV enthusiasts, the Xbox app can be installed, and by signing in with a Game Pass subscription and pairing a Bluetooth controller, gamers can instantly delve into cloud gaming. This renders it possible to enjoy console-level gaming on a living room television without the necessity of buying an Xbox.

A Milestone for Gaming in India

This launch signifies Microsoft's commitment to extend Xbox Cloud Gaming beyond the global beta phase, with the goal of providing high-caliber gaming experiences to a broader audience in India. Furthermore, this integration accommodates Windows-based portable gaming devices such as the ROG Xbox Ally, ensuring a seamless portable gaming experience.
