Dubai, UAE – The fuel prices in the UAE are escalating as the national fuel pricing committee declares increases across all petrol and diesel types this December. Both commuters and businesses will feel the pressure as the rates are set to rise.
Super 98 petrol, favored by many drivers, is now priced at AED 2.70 per litre, up from AED 2.63 in November. Special 95 petrol will now cost AED 2.58 per litre, a jump from AED 2.51. In addition, E-Plus petrol will be available at AED 2.51, reflecting a 7 fils increase from the last month.
This month, diesel experiences a sharp increase, rising to AED 2.85 per litre from AED 2.67. This adjustment aligns with global oil price trends and local market changes, leading to heightened transportation and logistics expenses for businesses.
While these changes are relatively small, their cumulative impact could affect daily commuting costs and freight charges. Motorists are encouraged to prepare accordingly as these new prices take immediate effect nationwide.
This decision highlights the government's continuous efforts to maintain a balance between energy availability, market stability, and cost-effectiveness for residents, all while adapting to global market dynamics.
