The United Arab Emirates has expressed its deep dismay over the devastating school shooting in Turkey, which resulted in the loss of at least nine lives and left 13 others injured on Wednesday.
In a formal statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reiterated the UAE’s resolute opposition to all violent acts, extremism, and criminal behaviors that jeopardize security and stability within communities.
The UAE offered its sincere condolences to the victims' families and expressed solidarity with the Turkish government and its citizens during this sorrowful period. It also wished a quick and complete recovery for those harmed in the event.
Officials noted that this attack marks Turkey's second school shooting in recent days, raising critical alarms regarding public safety and protection.
The UAE reaffirmed its dedication to supporting global initiatives focused on eradicating violence and fostering peace, stability, and the safeguarding of innocent lives internationally.
