In a significant development for the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has unveiled two 24-hour hotlines dedicated to assisting athletes and attendees. This inaugural initiative, part of the 17th edition of the championship at Mubadala Arena, demonstrates the Federation's unwavering commitment to fostering a supportive environment for all participants and visitors.
The Vice President of the Federation, His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, expressed that these hotlines will be operational round the clock for the entire duration of the event. Designed to facilitate assistance for both local spectators and international competitors, the service aims to ensure smooth communication throughout this major sporting occasion.
Al Dhaheri emphasized the goal of making every attendee feel supported, ensuring that questions or issues can be promptly addressed. The hotline will cater to inquiries regarding event timings, logistical aspects, venue entries, accommodation, and other essential concerns for both athletes and visitors. This strategic move aims to enrich the overall experience of participants while solidifying the Federation's reputation for excellence in organization and hospitality.
The Championship stands out as one of the world's premier martial arts gatherings, attracting over 10,000 participants this year from more than 130 nations, marking it as the largest and most diverse in its history. This impressive turnout reflects the increasing global enthusiasm for Jiu-Jitsu and highlights Abu Dhabi’s pivotal role as a cornerstone for the sport.
Implementing the 24-hour support lines illustrates the Federation’s dedication to seamless event operations. Al Dhaheri noted that this service would benefit not only competitors but also fans seeking guidance regarding match attendance and facility access at the Mubadala Arena.
Moreover, 70 volunteers of varying ages have been strategically deployed across the event to assist athletes, officials, and guests in various capacities such as entrance management and information distribution. Their involvement is instrumental in ensuring a smooth event, promoting a positive experience for all.
These volunteers are well-trained to handle diverse situations and are linked directly to the event management team via the hotline system, ensuring prompt support when required. This blend of human assistance and technological innovation strives to provide exemplary service throughout the championship.
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation remains resolute in its mission to position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for Jiu-Jitsu. By orchestrating such a large-scale event and facilitating quality support services, the Federation is continuously enhancing the city's status as the “World Capital of Jiu-Jitsu.”
Al Dhaheri asserted the importance of digital solutions and effective organization in achieving a successful championship, with advanced systems in place for registration, scheduling, and communication, enhancing coordination among teams and officials. The hotline initiative exemplifies this commitment to improving experiences for both athletes and spectators alike.
These hotlines will continue to operate until all teams conclude their participation, with feedback collected helping the Federation enhance future events and better understand the needs of athletes and fans.
Notably, the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship is famous for uniting elite talent and championing values such as sportsmanship, discipline, and respect—fundamental aspects of the Jiu-Jitsu ethos. With this new initiative, the Federation assures a welcoming and organized setting for everyone involved.
As the competition progresses, numerous athletes vie for medals, glory, and pride. The Federation's persistent endeavors to provide top-tier facilities and services signify the UAE's commitment to fostering sports excellence and hospitality on a global scale.
The introduction of these 24-hour hotlines during this prestigious event showcases the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s dedication to nurturing its global sporting community with professionalism and care.
