UAE Offers Condolences Over Train Collision in Spain, 40 Lives Lost

In a show of support, the UAE has conveyed its condolences following a devastating train collision in southern Spain that has resulted in at least 40 fatalities and many injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued an official statement expressing heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims, the Spanish government, and the citizens of Spain. The UAE also conveyed wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in this unfortunate incident.

According to Reuters, authorities have reported that there are still 43 individuals missing after the crash, with investigations underway. Preliminary findings suggest a potential faulty rail joint may be responsible.

The incident has deeply impacted the nation, prompting emergency response units to diligently engage in search and rescue efforts.
