UAE Strongly Denounces Iran's Attacks on Kuwait

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation regarding the drone and missile strikes carried out by Iran against Kuwait, labeling them a blatant infringement upon Kuwait’s sovereignty and a serious danger to its stability and security.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) condemned the strikes unequivocally, underlining that such actions jeopardize the security framework of the region. The ministry asserted that these assaults are a clear challenge to Kuwait’s sovereignty, which threaten not only the wellbeing of its citizens but also the country's overall stability.

The UAE reaffirmed its unwavering support for Kuwait and pledged full cooperation with its government in all efforts to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the UAE's steadfast stance against any form of aggression that undermines the security and stability of countries in the region, reiterating its commitment to initiatives that promote peace and foster regional stability.

This statement by the UAE comes in light of rising tensions in the region following the recent attacks targeting Kuwait.
