UAE Expresses Sympathy Following Tragic Fire in Bosnia Retirement Home

The United Arab Emirates has conveyed its sincere condolences and solidarity with Bosnia and Herzegovina in light of the tragic fire incident that occurred at a retirement home in Tuzla, resulting in the deaths of at least 12 individuals and injuring 28 others.

In an official statement, the UAE Consulate in Bosnia offered its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and to the populace of Bosnia, while also providing prayers for a swift recovery for those affected. The Consulate reiterated the UAE’s steadfast support for the Bosnian government and citizens during this challenging period.

The catastrophic fire ignited on Tuesday morning at the Tuzla retirement home, quickly engulfing the building before emergency responders could intervene. Although investigations into the fire's cause have concluded, officials await final reports from local authorities.

Officials in Bosnia characterized this incident as one of the most devastating fires in recent regional history, leading to national mourning and profound sorrow. Residents and local charities have stepped forward to support the impacted families.
