In an official statement issued by the Government of Dubai Media Office, authorities said air defence systems successfully intercepted the aerial threats. The sounds reported by residents during the incident were attributed to these interception operations.
The falling debris landed within private residential compounds, resulting in minor injuries to two individuals. Officials confirmed that both injured persons received immediate medical attention and are in stable condition.
Authorities reassured residents that response teams acted swiftly to secure the affected areas and ensure public safety. Investigations are ongoing to assess the full extent of the incident and document any material damage caused by the debris.
