According to a recent NBC News poll, President Donald Trump has hit a new low in approval ratings, marking the lowest point since his current term began in January 2025.
Conducted from March 30 to April 13, the survey indicates that 63% of respondents disapprove of Trump's performance, while a mere 37% express their approval. This represents the lowest approval figure NBC has documented since his inauguration. With responses from 32,433 adults across the nation, the poll carries a margin of error of ±1.8 percentage points.
The erosion of support appears closely linked to escalating public concerns over the economic landscape and the ongoing U.S. engagement in the Iran conflict. Many voters voiced worries about increasing economic strains and the ramifications of foreign policy decisions.
As the midterm elections approach, this decline in approval ratings could pose significant challenges for Republican candidates, as voter perceptions will be instrumental in influencing political outcomes.
