T-VFX Establishes Regional Base in Abu Dhabi, Elevating MENA's Film Scene

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Abu Dhabi is fast becoming a central player in the film and television landscape of the Middle East. The recent establishment of T-VFX’s Middle East headquarters on Yas Island marks a significant milestone for the emirate. This development follows the introduction of a more attractive film and TV production rebate earlier in 2025, which has drawn a wave of international and regional projects.

With a legacy spanning over 25 years, T-VFX has partnered with renowned brands like Amazon, Apple, and Unilever. Its new facility in Abu Dhabi offers an extensive range of services tailored for films, television shows, commercials, digital media, exhibitions, and unique projects.

The advanced studio and editing environments, along with a dedicated volume stage at Yas Island, enable the production of diverse media content. Equally important, T-VFX is dedicated to developing local talent through training mentors, internships for youth identified by CMA, and specialized workshops for regional professionals. This initiative ensures that Abu Dhabi’s creative sector flourishes with both scale and talent.

With this expansion, the content production landscape in Abu Dhabi stands to gain immensely from enhanced VFX and postproduction services. By having skilled teams locally, productions can cut down on external dependencies, which in turn streamlines timelines and boosts innovation.

This initiative underscores Abu Dhabi’s ambition to become a premier global creative media hub, promoting innovation and supporting local talent, while attracting international projects to the region.
