This week in Dubai, Sonam Kapoor embraced a soft pastel theme at a wedding, unveiling two stunning looks that showcased her impeccable fashion taste. Her social media post, captioned “Shaadi ready… two days and two looks I loved!”, quickly garnered attention for their elegant styling and meticulous craftsmanship.
Her first attire depicted a harmonious blend of tradition and simplicity, featuring a Tarun Tahiliani × de Gournay embroidered outfit. The subdued blush kurta and dupatta, embellished with intricate floral designs, were styled with precision by Rhea Kapoor and Manish Melwani. Complementing the look were pearl earrings, a pearl strand, a stunning choker, and a vintage pearl bag by Meera Mahadevia. A natural makeup palette highlighted her radiant complexion, while her hair was elegantly tied in a low bun by Komal. Fizzy Goblet juttis and layered bangles added a gentle charm, with a minimalist watch rounding off her accessories.
Sonam was later photographed alongside her husband, Anand Ahuja, who donned a traditional black bandh gala with a satin shirt and tailored white trousers, enhancing her pastel look without overshadowing it.
On the second day, Sonam opted for a mint-blue organza saree by Anamika Khanna, embellished with lace borders and an intricately embroidered cape-style blouse. The soft color provided a fresh yet regal vibe, complemented by subtle makeup and a bold deep-red lip that added a powerful contrast to the pastel drape.
Her fashion choices resonate with the key wedding trends of 2025—from subtle pastels and luxurious embroidery to minimalist aesthetics and statement accessories. Through these two looks, Sonam reaffirmed her status as a leading figure in Bollywood fashion, effortlessly merging traditional and modern styles.
