Riyadh Fashion Week continued to captivate audiences on its second day, showcasing the creativity and talent of Saudi designers. The event, which celebrates fashion rooted in cultural identity, saw a variety of collections that combined tradition with modern design.
The day featured presentations by Saudi brands Leem, Rebirth, Amen, Waad Aloqaili, Ashwaq Al-Mashrhad, and Abadia, each bringing a unique style and vision to the runway.
Leem opened the day with a collection of fluid, modest silhouettes in deep colors such as burgundy, brown, and black. The designs included long dresses, skirts, jackets, tailored pants, and blazers. Dark gradient pieces added depth, while ivory outfits offered contrast.
Rebirth followed with a bohemian-inspired lineup. Dresses, skirts, tailored trousers, and draped gowns featured fringe details for texture and movement. Asymmetrical cuts and layered elements created variety, while soft earthy tones such as sand, taupe, olive, and rust complemented ivory and chocolate shades.
Amen showcased draped gowns, asymmetric dresses, and flowing blouses made from silk and chiffon. The brand’s signature crescent motif appeared in embroidery or beadwork on several pieces. The palette ranged from jewel tones like violet and royal blue to pastels including mint, ivory, and blush.
Waad Aloqaili presented a couture collection featuring sculpted gowns and flowing capes. Layered beadwork and embroidery, sequins, and crystals created shell-like patterns. Soft shades of lilac, ivory, and champagne highlighted the collection’s symmetry and texture.
Ashwaq Al-Mashrhad focused on volume and contrast with floor-length gowns, capes, and tailored separates. Fabrics included velvet, satin, and embellished tulle. Floral detailing and layered structures added visual depth to the neutral, pastel, and darker color palette.
Abadia closed the day with a collection emphasizing soft volume and refined layering. Wide trousers were paired with long coats, tunics, and draped blouses in brown, cream, gold, muted pastels, and deep burgundy. The use of silk, velvet, and wool created relaxed silhouettes that blended traditional influences with modern tailoring.
This year, Riyadh Fashion Week also welcomed international designers. British fashion house Vivienne Westwood opened the event with her Saudi debut, while Stella McCartney is set to close the week with her first presentation in the Kingdom.
Riyadh Fashion Week continues to demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s growing presence in the global fashion scene. By promoting local designers and embracing cultural heritage, the event provides a platform for Saudi talent to shine on both national and international stages.
