Comprehensive Safety Initiative Launched for Liwa Festival 2026

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

The Organising Committee of Liwa International Festival 2026 has initiated an extensive safety campaign, collaborating with Abu Dhabi Police, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority. This commitment aims to uphold visitor safety and ensure seamless festival operations.

This initiative seeks to elevate public awareness, bolster emergency readiness, and guarantee a secure atmosphere for all participants, spectators, and staff during the festival's duration. Organisers emphasized that this proactive strategy is crucial for crowd safety, especially in high-energy events that draw significant crowds.

As part of the effort, attendees will receive clear information on essential safety practices, emergency plans, and available on-site support services throughout the festival grounds. Dedicated response teams from collaborating agencies will be present to address incidents rapidly and offer immediate help as needed.

A notable aspect of the initiative is the distribution of safety helmets to participants, promoting responsible involvement and mitigating injury risks during festival activities. Officials highlighted this measure's importance in enhancing overall event security through personal safety gear.

The safety campaign also comprises informative messaging, prominent signage, and direct interaction with attendees to keep them updated about emergency access routes, medical assistance, and support services.

Festival officials affirmed that the partnership among security, emergency, and humanitarian organizations sets a high standard for event safety, ensuring that Liwa International Festival 2026 provides a secure, enjoyable, and well-managed experience for all attendees.
