Qatar's Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has initiated its inaugural volunteer training program tailored for search and rescue operations along with disaster management.
This program arises from a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established with the Qatar Voluntary Center, a branch of the Ministry of Culture. The training is led by the Qatar Search and Rescue Team, ensuring participants receive expert guidance and practical experience.
Emphasizing the significance of youth involvement in national service, this initiative seeks to equip local volunteers with essential skills for effectively addressing emergencies and crises.
Participants will develop critical knowledge and hands-on capabilities to manage disasters, thereby enhancing Qatar’s overall preparedness and response infrastructure.
