North Korea Backs Iran, Slams Israel Amid Conflict

North Korea has officially spoken out in support of Iran during the ongoing conflict with Israel. On Thursday, a spokesperson from North Korea’s foreign ministry in Pyongyang said they are deeply worried about Israel’s recent military strikes against Iran.

According to North Korea's state-run news agency KCNA, the spokesperson strongly criticized Israel, saying it is making the situation worse in the Middle East and increasing the risk of a full-scale war. The official said that Israel, with strong support from the United States and Western countries, is like a “cancer” hurting peace in the Middle East. They believe Israel is mainly responsible for damaging peace and safety around the world.

The spokesperson also said that Israel had no right to attack Iran’s land. They described the attacks as a “terrible act of aggression” and said Israel broke Iran’s rights by violating its land and independence. North Korea also said that both Israel and the countries supporting it should be held fully responsible for breaking peace and causing war.

This strong message from North Korea shows its close friendship with Iran. Iran and North Korea have had a close relationship since 1973. Both countries are under heavy restrictions from the United States and Western powers because of their weapons and nuclear activities.

Fighting Between Iran and Israel Gets Worse

Tensions between Iran and Israel have reached dangerous levels. The situation became more serious after Israel launched a military attack called "Operation Rising Lion." Now, both countries are continuing their strikes and say they will keep going, even though many around the world are asking them to stop.

Meanwhile, the United States is still thinking about what to do. President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on whether the U.S. will get involved in the fight.

Sadly, the ongoing violence has led to many deaths. So far, at least 224 people have been killed in Iran and 24 people in Israel. The world is watching closely, hoping for peace and a stop to the violence.
