NMDC Group Posts 26% Profit Gain to AED2.8 Billion as Backlog Reaches AED62.3 Billion

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

For the first nine months of 2025, NMDC Group recorded notable financial progress as revenues increased 11% year‑on‑year to AED20.5 billion and net profit rose 26% to AED2.8 billion, underscoring a strong period of commercial execution and growth across its business units.

The improvement reflected disciplined cost control and operational efficiencies that lifted the Group's net profit margin to 13.5% during the period, highlighting its focus on margin protection alongside top‑line expansion.

By the end of September 2025, NMDC's project backlog had expanded to AED62.3 billion. New awards totalled AED17.7 billion in the first nine months, with roughly 38% of those wins coming from markets beyond the region—evidence of the company's accelerating international footprint.

Strategic contract wins this year included NMDC's entry into the Philippines with a US$610.1 million marine assignment in Manila Bay, a US$104.2 million marina project in Salalah, Oman, and a major US$1.13 billion EPC award in Taiwan Province for a subsea gas pipeline secured by NMDC Energy—each deal extending the Group's sectoral and geographic reach.

The broader project pipeline reached AED89 billion as of September 2025, spanning NMDC Dredging & Marine, NMDC Energy and NMDC Infrastructure. Such diversification across divisions and territories strengthens the Group's positioning within the engineering and construction landscape.

With a sizeable order book, sustained international contract wins and steady financial momentum, NMDC Group is positioned to complete 2025 on a robust footing and enter 2026 with enhanced capacity for further expansion.
