Nita Ambani Dazzles in Traditional Jamawar Saree at Temple Event

Post by : Mina Rahman

Business icon Nita Ambani once again showcased her exceptional taste in ethnic fashion at the inauguration and Pran Pratishtha of the Shiva Temple in Gir, Gujarat. Renowned for her appreciation of Indian heritage, Nita opted for an exquisite Jamawar saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani, underscoring the uniqueness of her ethnic attire.

Crafted from a blend of silk and pashmina, the saree has historical significance tracing back to India’s Mughal period. Its elaborate Khashida embroidery, a time-honored tradition from Jammu and Kashmir, infused the ensemble with an aura of royal sophistication. The saree's delicate hues of pearl, ochre, and deep red provided a classic yet elegant appearance.

Nita draped the saree in a traditional manner that allowed the pallu to cascade gracefully over her shoulder. A modern twist was introduced with her blouse, featuring a subtle optical illusion with curved borders and a striking Jamawar back that harmonized beautifully with the saree.

Her accessories were lavish, including a multi-layered necklace crafted from rare vintage Golconda diamonds, coordinating earrings, and vibrant red bangles. Nita's makeup was soft yet striking, highlighted by shimmery eyeshadow, smudged eyeliner, mascara-laden lashes, well-defined brows, radiant cheeks, and nude lipstick.

She styled her hair in a middle-parted braid adorned with red flowers, with gentle curls framing her face. A small red bindi completed the look, masterfully balancing traditional elements with modern elegance.
