Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Abu Dhabi is set to witness an electrifying basketball experience as NBA legends Oscar Robertson, Derrick Rose, Mark Jackson, John Starks, Rudy Gay, and Michael Carter-Williams headline the fourth edition of NBA District from 2-5 October 2025 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island. The event promises an unforgettable weekend for basketball enthusiasts, combining interactive fan experiences, live concerts, and exclusive merchandise.

Fans will get a chance to step onto a full-size NBA court, snap photos with the prestigious Larry O’Brien Trophy, and attend panel sessions featuring some of the game’s most iconic players. The event also offers limited-edition and customised NBA merchandise, making it a paradise for collectors and fans alike.

The NBA District aligns with The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 presented by ADQ, where the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers will face off in preseason games on 2 October and 4 October at Etihad Arena, Yas Island. Attendees of the NBA District can enjoy special access to the legends during the games, offering a rare opportunity for fan interactions.

Entertainment will take centre stage on 3 October with performances by Siilawy, Tul8te, DJ Jack, Stick No Bills, and DJ D-Nice, creating a festival-like atmosphere at the Friday night concert. The weekend winds down with a Sunday Coffee Social on 5 October at 10am, featuring a performance by local favourite Abu Dhabi House Movement, while early access tickets grant fans entry to NBA District from 1pm onwards.

Tickets for NBA District and the exclusive events, including the concert and Coffee Social, are available via ticketmaster.ae, while NBA Games tickets can be purchased from etihadarena.ae and ticketmaster.ae. Basketball fans in the region are in for a memorable mix of sport, music, and fan-centric activities this October in Abu Dhabi.
