FIA Declares Monaco Grand Prix 2026 Prepared for Action

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has announced that all necessary arrangements have been finalized for the FIA Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, taking place this Sunday in Monte Carlo.

This Monaco Grand Prix will kick off the European leg of the 2026 Formula One World Championship season, underscoring the significance of one of the sport's most revered and historic competitions as Formula 1 embarks on a fresh regulatory phase.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem hailed the Monaco Grand Prix as one of the premier events in the realm of motorsport. He remarked that the race embodies heritage, excellence, precision, and passion, consistently drawing interest from motorsport enthusiasts across the globe.

Ben Sulayem emphasized that the 2026 season signifies a pivotal new chapter for Formula 1, with Monaco serving as a potent symbol of the distinctiveness of the sport. He acknowledged the contributions of elite drivers, sophisticated engineering, committed teams, and the hard work of officials, volunteers, and organizers in ensuring a successful race weekend.

The FIA President extended his gratitude to all stakeholders involved in the event’s hosting, including FIA officials, local organizers, marshals, volunteers, teams, and commercial partners. He noted that the success of each Formula 1 race rests on the dedication and efforts of these individuals.

As Formula 1 continues to broaden its global outreach, the FIA is committed to upholding top-tier competitive standards while prioritizing safety, sustainability, and the continued evolution of motorsport across all levels.
