Dubai, UAE – The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) has awarded certificates to 19 officials representing the General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) after their successful completion of a targeted leadership programme at MBRSG’s Convention Tower campus. The graduation underscores ongoing efforts to enhance public-sector capacity across Dubai.
Delivered from January to May 2025, the Leadership Development Programme aimed to sharpen participants' strategic thinking, digital fluency and policy formulation skills at the managerial level. Spanning more than 110 hours, the curriculum combined instructor-led sessions, self-paced e-learning modules, field visits and collaborative projects that addressed real operational challenges from the participants’ workplaces.
The course formed part of a coordinated initiative between MBRSG, SLC and DCAA designed to support a future-ready administration. Instruction concentrated on five core pillars: management excellence, institutional development, public policy design, strategic planning and digital leadership, each structured to respond to the demands of modern governance and institutional transformation.
Participants completed applied projects that generated concrete recommendations for organisational improvement. A dedicated review committee evaluated these proposals to verify their practicality and potential for measurable impact within the respective agencies.
By integrating academic frameworks with executive practice, the programme sought to cultivate leaders who combine foresight, adaptability and innovation. The training is positioned to help Dubai’s public institutions navigate digital transitions and evolving policy environments.
At the closing ceremony, the cohort's graduation was presented as evidence of Dubai’s sustained commitment to investing in human capital as a strategic enabler of long-term governance excellence and international competitiveness.
