Dubai South's MBRAH Elevates Aerospace Focus Through UUDS Collaboration

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has bolstered its alliance with UUDS AERO, representing a significant advancement in Dubai’s developing aerospace landscape.

As a result of this partnership, UUDS AERO has obtained two new Code F plots at MBRAH, each capable of accommodating up to three wide-body aircraft. This expansion is set to support extensive cabin completion, modification, and retrofit operations, answering the rising demand for premium aircraft interior solutions while emphasizing UUDS AERO’s dedicated presence in Dubai.

Additionally, MBRAH will unveil a Cabin Excellence Center spanning 40,000 square metres within its Airline Manufacturing and Supply Chain Zone. This innovative facility will be the first of its kind in the region, focusing on high-end cabin engineering, manufacturing, and new technologies. It aims to position Dubai as a pivotal hub for aircraft cabin design and production.

Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, highlighted that the enhanced partnership is aligned with Dubai’s broader ambitions in aviation. He emphasized that the Cabin Excellence Center is a milestone, boosting industrial capabilities while supporting engineering and cabin innovation sectors across the emirate. Saif reiterated MBRAH’s commitment to provide a world-class platform for global aerospace enterprises to thrive.

Gilles Negre, Founder and Chairman of UUDS AERO, noted that this expansion will greatly improve operational capabilities. He pointed out that the new plots and planned center will enable UUDS AERO to deliver cabin completion, modification, and eco-efficient solutions more effectively. Negre commended Dubai South for its exceptional infrastructure and vision, making it an ideal location for aerospace advancements.

UUDS AERO functions as a comprehensive aircraft cabin completion and modification facility, recognized with essential certifications from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Their services encompass design, certification, manufacturing, maintenance, and the development of environmentally responsible aviation solutions.

MBRAH is continually drawing top global airlines, private jet operators, MRO providers, and aerospace manufacturers. As a free-zone destination within Dubai South, it supports maintenance facilities, training centers, and educational institutions, furthering Dubai’s goal of becoming a leading aviation and aerospace destination.
