Though Miss India Manika Vishwakarma did not secure a position in the Top 12 at Miss Universe 2025, she garnered immense admiration for her poise, self-assurance, and captivating appearance, particularly during the swimsuit segment where she dazzled in a white outfit.

Following the grand finale in Nonthaburi, Thailand, where Mexico's Fatima Bosch took home the Miss Universe 2025 title, Manika expressed her heartfelt gratitude on Instagram. She shared numerous supportive messages from fans and fellow contestants, responding with warmth to their kind words.

When Nandini Gupta, who represented India in Miss World 2025, lauded her efforts, Manika replied, “Thank you. You are our pride. Rajasthani supremacy.” Nandini, also from Rajasthan, praised Manika for her radiant representation of India throughout the event.

Manika made it to the Top 30, earning accolades for her on-stage charisma and fashion choices. Her gold sculptural national costume, inspired by the birthplace of Buddhism in India, was a standout in the costume round. Additionally, her shimmering golden gown during the ceremony earned her further admiration.

The Miss Universe 2025 competition concluded with Fatima Bosch crowned as the winner. The remaining Top 5 included contestants from Thailand, Venezuela, the Philippines, and Côte d’Ivoire.

This year's contest was marred by controversy, with allegations of an organizer from Thailand referring to Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch as a “dumbhead,” prompting a walkout from her and other contestants. Moreover, judges Omar Harfouch and Claude Makélélé resigned due to fairness concerns, alleged preselection of the Top 30, and conflicts of interest, which raised significant questions about the competition's integrity.
