In a bid to foster stronger collaborations with industry players, the General Tax Authority (GTA) has launched a series of targeted workshops for audit firms, focusing on tax-related education.
As revealed in an official announcement from the GTA this Tuesday, participants included over 50 auditors and representatives from various audit firms, all convened at the Authority's headquarters.
These workshops aimed to boost both technical and practical competencies while advocating for adherence to established best practices and professional benchmarks in taxation.
Participants were updated on recent legislative and procedural changes during these interactive sessions, which merged theoretical insights with practical training to enhance professional capabilities.
This initiative further seeks to deepen understanding of tax regulations, harmonize professional interpretations, and ensure more uniform application of tax laws, ultimately aiming for improved compliance levels.
The GTA emphasized that these workshops underscore its commitment to ongoing collaboration with audit firms, supporting tax compliance and elevating the quality of practice in the industry.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy by the Authority to streamline technical concepts and processes, strengthen compliance with existing regulations, facilitate knowledge exchange, and stay abreast of new developments within the tax landscape.
