Fresh Del Monte Launches Pinkglow Pineapple in UAE via Talabat

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. has introduced a special fruit called the Pinkglow pineapple in the United Arab Emirates. This is the first time this pink-fleshed pineapple is available in the Middle East. Starting from June 4, people in the UAE can buy this fruit only through Talabat Mart, which is the fast delivery service of Talabat.

The Pinkglow pineapple is unique because it has pink inside and tastes very sweet. It is grown in Costa Rica and was earlier sold only in some countries in North America and Asia. Now, Fresh Del Monte wants more people around the world to enjoy this special fruit, so they are bringing it to the UAE.

In the UAE, the Pinkglow pineapples will be sold only on Talabat Mart for six months. There will be a small amount available each week. Each pineapple costs AED 125, which is about 34 US dollars. The fruit will come in special packaging. Because of the high price and limited numbers, this pineapple is seen as a luxury or premium fruit.

Racha El Aawar, who is the Regional Marketing Director for Fresh Del Monte in the Middle East, said that many people around the world want to try different kinds of fruits. So, the company is making more of these special fruits available. Alix Julien de Zelicourt, the General Manager of Talabat Mart, said that their goal is to offer special and different products to their customers.

Since it first came out, the Pinkglow pineapple has been popular because it looks pretty with its pink color. Many people use it at parties or give it as a gift. Fresh Del Monte also has other special pineapple types like Honeyglow, Rubyglow, and DM Zero. The company controls everything from growing the pineapples to delivering them, making sure the quality stays high.
