An early morning fire broke out at a high-rise building under construction in Dubai Marina, leading to an immediate emergency response.
The incident took place around 7:30 am at The Residences at Al Habtoor Grand, a 50-storey structure adjacent to the waterfront and the Habtoor Grand Hotel. This development is slated for completion by March 2027.
Dubai Civil Defence, accompanied by police teams, arrived swiftly as thick smoke filled the marina skyline. Authorities promptly restricted access to the road near the hotel to ensure safety and facilitate firefighting efforts.
The nearby Al Marsa Civil Defence station allowed for a rapid response, enabling crews to begin controlling the blaze quickly.
At this time, officials have not disclosed the cause of the fire, and no injuries have been reported.
Fires are more frequent during the hotter months, making quick emergency responses critical due to the increased risk of spread.
