Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the United Arab Emirates have issued heartfelt condolence messages to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, upon the death of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the nation’s former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry.
The leaders expressed their deep sympathy for the Emir, the Al Attiyah family, and the citizens of Qatar during this trying time.
Condolences were sent by several rulers including His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of Umm Al Quwain, and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.
Additionally, the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the UAE relayed similar condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, sharing their grief over the loss of this significant Qatari figure.
Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah was a highly esteemed public servant in Qatar, significantly influencing the nation’s energy and industrial landscape during his governmental career. His efforts played a crucial role in positioning Qatar as a key player in the global energy market.
These condolences highlight the strong relationship and mutual respect between the UAE and Qatar’s leadership, alongside honoring leaders who have greatly contributed to the advancement of the Gulf region.
