This significant event, co-hosted by the UAE Insurance Federation, the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), and MenaMoney, aims to gather the foremost experts in finance, insurance, and risk management from across the region.

Bringing together actuaries, professionals from insurance and investment sectors, government executives, and national healthcare regulators, the conference provides a vital platform for addressing both established and emerging financial risks. Delegates will include representatives from finance, health and social protection ministries, central banks, insurance firms, actuarial consultancies, and educational institutions from the MENA region.

With the theme “The World from an Actuarial Eye,” the focus will be on leveraging AI and data analytics to transform the insurance and financial landscapes. Key discussions will cover health insurance trends in Arab markets, risk-based capital strategies, the role of actuaries in banking, the influence of Generative AI on actuarial practices, pension sustainability, catastrophe risk modeling, and digital assets in insurance.

This conference aims to promote collaboration, facilitate knowledge sharing, and forge innovative solutions that will enhance financial resilience and preparedness within society. Attendees will delve into the evolving duties of actuaries in light of rapid technological advancements and emerging financial challenges, providing valuable insights on adapting to AI, machine learning, and data-centric approaches.
