The Dubai Ports Authority (DPA), part of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, has confirmed its commitment to offer integrated maritime services round the clock to all vessels arriving at Dubai’s ports and anchorage zones.
The DPA highlighted its ongoing 24/7 operations aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient maritime activities. This dedication equips ship operators with essential services without any delay, irrespective of the time or operational challenges.
DPA reports that its sophisticated operational system facilitates a multitude of maritime services, including vessel bunkering, provision supply, medical assistance, crew change arrangements, and other critical operational needs. Each service is delivered through streamlined procedures, enhancing efficiency and minimizing turnaround durations.
Captain Ibrahim Al Blooshi, Executive Director of the Dubai Ports Authority, remarked that these efforts showcase the Authority’s commitment to raising customer awareness about the availability and consistency of its services. He underscored DPA’s proactive engagement with ship owners and operators to promptly address their requirements.
He further explained that the Authority is dedicated to providing adaptable and responsive services that meet the evolving needs of the global maritime industry, ensuring vessels access high-quality operational support quickly and reliably through approved service providers.
The Authority also ensures close collaboration with service providers to facilitate seamless operational integration and resource availability, enabling immediate responses to any vessel requirements under various conditions and ensuring service delivery meets global standards.
Moreover, DPA maintains direct communication channels between its customers and service providers, with its Customer Service Center operating 24/7 for swift response times and efficient handling of requests.
Captain Al Blooshi concluded that the uninterrupted services of the Authority significantly contribute to bolstering supply chains and reinforcing Dubai’s stature as a premier global maritime and logistics hub.
