In a recent pivotal meeting, Dubai Chambers convened with Li Xiangying, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), to enhance trade and investment opportunities between Dubai and China.
The discussion saw participation from Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and centered on fostering collaboration within various sectors, including digital economy, healthcare, science, and manufacturing.
Lootah highlighted the vital role of China as Dubai's foremost trading partner, remarking, "Our aim is to deepen our engagement with CCPIT Beijing to fortify bilateral relations and explore new opportunities especially in the realms of digital economy and advanced manufacturing."
This initiative follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established between Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Beijing during the Dubai Business Forum - China, which took place in Beijing in August 2024. The MoU is designed to expand trade, create investment prospects, and assist CCPIT Beijing members in establishing their presence in Dubai.
This partnership highlights Dubai's dedication to strengthening global business relations and reinforcing the emirate as a premier hub for innovation, trade, and investment.
