Dashoguz Commemorates Children's Day with Enthusiasm

Post by : Shakul

Dashoguz Velayat joyfully celebrated International Children’s Day with a series of lively cultural, educational, and recreational activities, uniting children, parents, educators, and local communities. This celebration highlights Turkmenistan’s dedication to fostering an environment where young individuals can flourish, learn, and grow in safe and modern settings.

The centerpiece of the festivities was held at the “Galkynyş Eýýamy” Recreation Park located in the Shavat district. This park, funded through awards from a national competition, became a hub for families to enjoy a day filled with entertainment. Children relished amusement rides, electric car experiences, games, music, and an array of delightful treats available at the venue.

Celebrations also took place in Dashoguz city center, where a refurbished public park hosted musical acts and community interactions. Newly designed walkways, green spaces, and enhanced public amenities transformed the park into a welcoming environment for families. This revitalized park is anticipated to become a favorite spot in the city for leisure and outdoor activities.

Local officials emphasized the region's ongoing investments in initiatives and infrastructure focused on supporting families and children. In Dashoguz, a comprehensive network of schools, preschools, healthcare facilities, and recreational venues provides essential services for children's education, health, and personal growth.

A key highlight of this commitment is the upcoming Maternal and Child Health Centre in Dashoguz, designed to serve numerous patients with cutting-edge medical equipment and an array of healthcare services. Authorities anticipate that this project will significantly enhance maternal and child healthcare throughout the area.

Educational initiatives are also on the rise, with construction underway for a new school that will accommodate 600 students and a kindergarten for 240 children in the Gulistan residential zone. These developments aim to satisfy growing needs and ensure modern educational access for families within their communities.

Children in Dashoguz have access to the well-regarded “Bagtyyar Nesil” Children’s Health Centre, a contemporary establishment blending healthcare, recreational, and educational functions. This facility includes sports fields, swimming pools, leisure spaces, accommodation, and cultural sites, fostering a holistic environment for healthy growth. The investments made, along with private recreational facilities in the region, underscore Dashoguz’s continual commitment to ensuring children enjoy opportunities for learning, play, and joyful childhood experiences.
