D4vd Arrested Following Investigation Into Teen Girl's Death in Los Angeles

Post by : Shweta

In a shocking development, D4vd has been arrested in Los Angeles regarding the death of a teenage girl whose remains were found last year, law enforcement officials have stated.

The 21-year-old musician, formally known as David Anthony Burke, was taken into custody on murder charges after a grand jury conducted an inquiry into the case of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Authorities reported that he is currently being held without bail, with the case set for presentation to prosecutors shortly.

The investigation ensued following the discovery of the girl's remains on September 8, 2025, hidden within a vehicle associated with the artist. Court documents revealed that the body was found in a highly decomposed condition inside a Tesla, which had been towed to a facility in Hollywood due to complaints of a strong odor.

Officials indicated that the remains were located in the car's front section, with preliminary evaluations implying that the victim may have been deceased for several weeks prior to the discovery. The precise cause of death remains unverified, with authorities initially treating the situation as a death inquiry before reclassifying it.

The victim had been reported missing in April 2024 by family members from her residence in Southern California. Investigators noted her history of running away, yet her disappearance last year incited an extensive search effort.

As the investigation progressed, the case garnered substantial public interest online, fueled by the scarcity of official updates and curiosity surrounding the singer's connection to the victim. A grand jury began reviewing evidence in late 2025, ultimately leading to D4vd's arrest.

Law enforcement has refrained from disclosing detailed particulars surrounding the alleged crime, but emphasized that the arrest is a significant milestone in the ongoing investigation. Authorities are actively continuing to collect evidence as the legal proceedings unfold.

Following the body’s discovery last year, D4vd has largely retreated from public engagements and has canceled professional obligations. Several of his brand collaborations have reportedly been impacted.

The investigation is still in motion, and officials have yet to announce any additional charges or a timeline for forthcoming court activities.
