Post by : Raina Nasser

Sirsa, Haryana, November 29, 2025 – A disturbing case has emerged from Sikanderpur village where a 25-year-old man allegedly took the life of both his mother and her neighbor. According to police reports, Raj Kumar discovered his mother, Anguri Devi, aged 42, engaged in what he termed an “objectionable position” with 55-year-old Lekh Raj inside their home.

Following the horrific act on the night bridging Thursday and Friday, Raj Kumar drove the victims’ bodies to the local police station in his pickup truck and confessed to the authorities. He reportedly admitted to using a cloth to strangle both individuals.

“The accused claimed that the family had previously urged his mother to terminate her relationship with Lekh Raj, but she had continued the affair for the past 15 years,” said a senior police official who wished to remain unnamed.

The deceased have been sent for a post-mortem, and Raj Kumar is now in custody facing charges related to this double murder. Investigations are currently underway to ascertain further details surrounding the incident.

This shocking event has unsettled the residents of Sikanderpur village, raising concerns about the escalation of domestic disputes into deadly violence. Law enforcement has assured the community that they are treating the matter with the utmost seriousness and will implement stringent measures.

This tragic affair in Haryana highlights the necessity of early intervention in family conflicts to prevent violence. Police have urged the public to maintain calm during the ongoing investigation.
