The Ajman Chamber took part in the China Franchise Expo and the World Franchise Council Annual Meeting 2026, which took place in Beijing from May 27 to 31. This initiative is part of their mission to enhance international economic relations and foster the growth of franchise ventures.

Representing the chamber was Maher Tarish Al Alili, a Board Member and Vice President of the Emirates Association for Franchise Development (FAD). This significant gathering attracted delegates from 47 nations, along with industry leaders, government representatives, global investors, franchise organizations, and specialized consultants.

During his address, Al Alili emphasized that Ajman Chamber’s involvement underscores its dedication to discovering new investment avenues, sharing knowledge, and nurturing the franchise ecosystem. He illustrated the chamber’s proactive maneuvers to position Ajman as a prime hub for international franchise entities.

Al Alili remarked that the franchise domain is pivotal for business growth, knowledge dissemination, and brand evolution. Franchising facilitates strategic alliances and cross-border ventures while fostering entrepreneurship, creating jobs, and promoting sustainable economic advancement.

He also spotlighted artificial intelligence's rising influence in the franchise sector, stating that the UAE's intense AI focus is unlocking novel opportunities for businesses. Al Alili asserted that AI enhances operational efficiency, informs data-driven decisions, and boosts the competitive edge of franchise operations.

The Ajman Chamber remains a staunch advocate for the franchise sector as a potent vehicle for business expansion and wealth-generating prospects. They are collaborating with the Emirates Association for Franchise Development and other key players to facilitate programs and initiatives that nurture franchise culture and bolster support for entrepreneurs and SMEs.

The Expo and World Franchise Council Annual Meeting included diverse panel discussions, workshops, and networking events, concentrating on the franchise industry's future. Key themes included global expansion, digital evolution, the influence of AI, supply chain improvements, brand enhancement, customer satisfaction, operational efficacy, and franchise regulations.
