The UAE Cabinet, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has sanctioned a comprehensive total of 3,567 housing decisions for Emirati citizens set for 2025, marking a historic yearly investment under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme. Valued at AED2.546 billion, these decisions underscore the nation’s persistent ambition to deliver sustainable housing solutions for families across the Emirates.

Current statistics reveal a balanced approach in the allocations for 2025, featuring a blend of grants, loans, and financing alternatives tailored to satisfy various citizen requirements. Among the allocations, AED356.3 million has been earmarked for 524 grants instituted by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Furthermore, the issuance includes 623 government housing loans amounting to AED270.2 million and 32 grants and benefits totaling AED25.4 million throughout the year. The bulk of the funding comes from 2,388 housing financing decisions, accumulating AED1.894 billion.

The last quarter of the year showcased an impressive surge, with 599 housing decisions approved, totaling AED478 million. This segment featured two generous grants from the President worth AED1.3 million, as well as 31 government loans valued at AED25.2 million and eight grants and benefits aggregating AED6.4 million. Financing decisions dominated this quarter, consisting of 558 approvals worth AED445.1 million.

This ongoing expansion in housing assistance illustrates the UAE's unwavering dedication to upgrading living conditions for Emirati families, securing access to reliable housing, and fostering long-term community stability.
