UAE Strengthens Ties with New Zambian Ambassador

Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Under-Secretary of the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officially received Nkombo Muuka’s credentials as the newly appointed Ambassador of Zambia to the UAE. This event marks the beginning of the ambassador's mission in the Emirates.

In their discussions, Alshamsi expressed his best wishes to Ambassador Muuka, emphasizing the UAE's dedication to advancing relations with Zambia in various domains, reflecting the significance the UAE attaches to its diplomatic connections and partnerships throughout Africa.

Ambassador Muuka acknowledged the UAE’s standing as a key player both regionally and globally. He noted how the UAE’s accomplishments under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan contribute to its rising stature in international diplomacy, economic growth, and sustainability efforts.

The historic friendship shared between the UAE and Zambia encompasses political, economic, cultural, and developmental sectors. There is a robust mutual interest in reinforcing their relationship with an eye towards promoting shared benefits and fostering growth for their citizens.
