A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, actively participated in the Fifth Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey. This prominent gathering convened world leaders and policymakers to deliberate on crucial international subjects.

Held under the theme “Planning for the Future, Managing Uncertainty,” the forum featured various sessions dedicated to global cooperation, sustainable growth, and regional security. Discussions revolved around strategies for tackling current geopolitical and economic dilemmas.

During his speech, Meredov reiterated Turkmenistan’s dedication to enhancing regional stability and fostering collaboration among Central Asian nations. He underscored the significance of developing cross-border infrastructure and deepening international partnerships.

Energy security emerged as a key topic, with Turkmenistan detailing its initiatives to diversify energy supply routes. Notably, the TAPI gas pipeline was highlighted as a central project to reinforce regional connectivity and energy collaboration.

The minister also highlighted the critical role of developing transport and logistics, noting Central Asia’s position as a bridge between Asia and Europe. Strengthening these corridors is identified as essential for enhancing trade and boosting economic integration.

Furthermore, Turkmenistan’s efforts within the United Nations were discussed, particularly its commitment to promoting energy sustainability. The nation has backed several UN resolutions aimed at improving global energy security.

The forum enabled Turkmenistan to reaffirm its pledge to balanced and mutually beneficial international collaboration. Officials stressed that cooperation among regional stakeholders is vital for achieving long-lasting stability, economic advancement, and sustainable development.
