His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has assessed the Emirates Tourism Council’s business report, which outlines the milestones reached by the UAE tourism sector in 2025.
This report showcases remarkable growth within the nation’s tourism industry, reinforcing the UAE's stature as a preeminent global travel hotspot.
According to the findings, the number of guests accommodated in UAE hotels surpassed 32 million in 2025, marking a 5.1 percent rise from 2024. The total hotel revenue surged to AED49.21 billion, reflecting a 9.7 percent annual increase.
The hospitality sector's ongoing expansion is evident, with over 217,000 hotel rooms available across more than 1,240 establishments nationwide. Hotel occupancy rates reached an impressive 79.5 percent, situating the UAE among the foremost tourism markets both regionally and globally.
Additionally, the report indicated that total hotel nights reached 100 million within the calendar year, underscoring robust tourism demand and sustained sector vitality.
Moreover, the UAE topped the rankings in the Middle East and North Africa region in the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI), placing 18th globally and further enhancing its international tourism reputation.
