Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, attended the 5th edition of Make it in The Emirates 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
This significant industrial event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADNOC, and L'IMAD Holding, under the theme “Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger.”
During her tour, Sheikha Latifa commended the exhibition's impressive growth, noting it signifies the UAE's commitment to becoming a global center for advanced industries and innovation-led economic development.
She articulated that the exhibition is a reflection of the UAE leadership's vision to foster a sustainable and diversified economy by investing in technology, empowering individuals, and nurturing future industries. She emphasized the UAE's rising status as an international hub for advanced manufacturing and innovative industrial solutions.
Sheikha Latifa also praised the involvement of local companies, entrepreneurs, and youth talent showcased at the event. She stated that the UAE is building a comprehensive development framework that facilitates the transition of ideas into successful enterprises, enhancing innovation, local production, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Throughout her visit, she explored numerous exhibition spaces, including The House of Industry, Al Ghadeer Emirati Craft, Advanced Technology Research Council, Theeb Cars, and engagement with the Ministry of Culture and other entities.
Sheikha Latifa was updated on the latest industrial and technological advancements designed to augment local manufacturing, boost the competitiveness of Emirati products, and promote youth talent across various sectors.
Accompanying her were Maryam Al Hammadi, Huda Al Hashimi, and Hala Badri.
This exhibition is recognized as the largest industrial assembly in the region, uniting government officials, private sector leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
Featuring over 1,245 companies across 12 industrial sectors, this year’s event also introduces new procurement opportunities aimed at localizing approximately 5,000 products within the UAE, with SMEs constituting 61 percent of the total exhibitors.
