His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held high-level talks with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung in Gyeongju, exploring ways to advance cooperation in strategic sectors. The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, where the UAE participated as a guest of honour at the invitation of South Korea.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled and President Lee focused on collaboration in clean and renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies, aiming to foster sustainable development and shared economic growth between the UAE and South Korea. The Crown Prince also conveyed warm greetings from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the South Korean leader.
In addition to talks with President Lee, Sheikh Khaled met New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon to explore opportunities for economic cooperation, investment, and the exchange of expertise across priority sectors.
